Hi! I’m Heather

Nice to meet you! I’m so happy you’ve found your way to me and would love to get to know you a little more; but first, let me tell you a little bit about myself!

Above all of the roles and titles I have, I am first and foremost a believer & follower of Jesus Christ. All that I do is ultimately for his glory. I am also married to my best friend, Justin who is a private pilot & we have 3 beautiful children together: Sage (8), Riah (6), and Tatym (3 months). I am currently taking 2023 off from weddings to enjoy this time with her, but am continuing to offer individual appointments, so please do not hesitate to reach out!

Before I jump into my makeup artistry journey, I would love to share something a little personal with you that has 100% impacted my journey as a makeup artist.

we all have something, and here’s mine…

I have struggled with a disorder known as trichotillomania since I was 5 years old. Having little to no lashes or brows instigated a plethora of uninvited attention and comments regarding my appearance for years which caused me to retreat from my extroverted personality out of shame and embarrassment. God has grown me a great deal in affirming that my identity is unaffected by my outward appearance, and it’s now clear as to how he has used something I despised about myself for good.

Insert makeup which offered a temporary confidence boost to where I felt I could stop hiding my face to start embracing the gifts and beauty God gave me and use it for his glory. Turns out, I’m not alone in the insecurities I grew up with and still battle at times, and I’d love to share some truth through my love of makeup with you.

True beauty is so much more than skin deep & my goal is for you to not only see the beauty in your reflection, but to truly feel it from the inside out. I firmly believe that makeup doesn’t make anyone “more beautiful”, but it can be used as a tool to discover a confidence that radiates from within. So if that sounds like something you’d be interested in, I’d love to meet you and connect further :) Thank you for coming along with me on this journey.

my why

I started my makeup business looking for something to do on the side of being a stay-at-home mommy after leaving my job as a Doctor of Occupational Therapy. I had a huge, burning desire to use my love for makeup to build the confidence of others, so I took a chance & started my business with a makeup brand I had fallen in love with. As women became interested in trying the products, I started applying makeup for others while teaching them tips in the process. This is how my small business was born. I’m now celebrating 7 years of experience & am so thankful for every moment that has brought me to this place and YOU. Thank you for being here.
